Quotations - Terms and Conditions
DESIGN AND DOCUMENTATION
NOTE
Concepts and prices are based upon information supplied at the time of quoting.
Air Gage reserves the right to re-quote if concepts must be changed due to
machining fixture design or change in part print.
APPROVAL DRAWING
The above quoted delivery is based on a 1-week maximum sign-off period of all
approval drawings. Delayed signed approvals may extend the delivery schedule.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Air Gage will furnish one set of adequate instructions covering the set-up and
operation of our equipment. Additional sets of instructions will be furnished,
upon request, and at a cost of $175.00 each.
DRAWINGS
Design process quoted herein include one set or original drawing on Air Gage or
customer's paper, and one set of blueprints to include General arrangement
outline drawings of the basic gage and other drawings considered by Air Gage to
be required to permit proper installation, maintenance or use of the gauging
equipment.
NOTE: Detailed drawings considered to be Air Gage proprietary information will
not be furnished.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please reference Air Gage quotation number on all purchase orders.
Prices are in effect for 60 days.
All prices quoted in US Dollars.
Minimum order of $150.00.
All quotes are contingent upon credit approval by Air Gage. It is Air Gage's
policy to request completed and signed credit applications from new customers.
To keep files updated, Air Gage may request that existing customers submit
completed and signed credit applications.
Air Gage requires a hard copy purchase order faxed to our company. All purchase
orders must include the following information:
- Purchase order number
- Complete bill and ship to addresses
- Purchasing agent's - or buyer's signature and telephone number
- Complete description of product being ordered
- Quote number
- Freight terms - Air Gage's terms are F.O.B. origin and Net 30 days. If payment
terms are not indicated
on the purchase order, Net 30 and F.O.B. origin will be used. Purchase orders
indicating different terms from
Air Gage's quote must be authorized and agreed upon between the customer and Air
Gage.
- Price of each item
- Requisitions will only be accepted when it is clearly stated on the document
that it is to be accepted in lieu
of a purchase order. The requisition's acceptance is subject to the same
contract guarantees governing
purchase orders. In other words, payment is expected from the submitting party
upon completion of the
requisition.
NOTE
Due to uncertainty of the availability and pricing of computer components, Air
Gage will guarantee the quoted equipment and price for 30 days. We reserve the
right to substitute computer components in the event that the quoted equipment
is unavailable.
DELIVERY
The quoted equipment will be delivered within the proposed schedule, providing
we receive all the necessary technical information upon receipt of a purchase
order. Any delay in obtaining this information may extend the delivery schedule.
Upon receipt of purchase order, full size or legible prints will be required
before start of design and/or build of this equipment. Deliveries quoted are
after receipt of these prints.
PAYMENT TERMS
-90% of total purchase price after approval of gage on seller's floor, Net 30
days
-10% of the purchase price after run-off acceptance on customer's floor, Net 30
days
Payment terms are Net 30 Days from date of invoice, unless otherwise specified
on quotation. Payment is due when job is complete (or when we are requested to
invoice); whether it be held on our floor as requested by customer, shipped to a
destination specified by customer, or directly to the customer's floor.
DESIGN & BUILD
Air Gage reserves the right to invoice for design when the completed design is
assigned to the shop for build. Customer verification of this is welcome.
TRAINING
Air Gage offers informal training on all of our equipment. Please contact us for
further information on cost and availability of these services.
A One-year warranty is extended on all materials and/or equipment manufactured
by Air Gage. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on all
components manufactured by Air Gage with the exception of normal wear items/part
touching details. Air Gage electronic columns are warranted for a three year
period. Warranty service will be performed on-site upon receipt of your formal
request for service. Customer will be responsible for all travel expenses, to
include transportation, lodging, and sustenance. All purchased equipment shall
be covered by the original manufacturer's warranty only. The warranty period
shall begin upon arrival of the equipment at the end user's facility but no
later than 30 days after leaving the Air Gage plant in Livonia, Michigan. Air
Gage reserved the right to evaluate any misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance
of the equipment. Determination of any of these conditions will require service
to be performed at our normal service rates as specified below. In no event
shall Air Gage be liable for collateral or consequential damages in this regard.
No other warranty, expressed or implied, is extended hereunder.
PNEUMATIC MEASUREMENT COMPONENTS
All air to electronic converters and pneumatic tooling must be supplied by a
standard of air supply meeting or exceeding Air Gage '' Pneumatic Measurement
Quality Air Requirements''. Documentation of these standards are available
through the Air Gage Quality Department (Reference document
I:\ISO-9001\DOCUMENTS\DAG\DAG-0015). Deviation from the stated requirements must
be approved in advance of order in writing.
CANCELLATION
A purchase order placed on the basis of this quotation may be canceled by the
buyer up to 30 days prior to the estimated shipping date, provided that:
(1) Air Gage receives a signed and dated cancellation notice either by fax or
mail,
(2) Customer receives a signed acknowledgement from a Air Gage associate, and
(3) The buyer agrees to compensate Air Gage for all loses resulting from such
cancellation, including any loss of profit, all engineering and development
costs, labor costs and material costs already incurred as of the date of
cancellation.
RETURNS
Air Gage will accept the return of any standard, ''unused off the shelf'' item
within 30 days of shipment and a 25% restocking fee will apply.
INSTALLATION
If no installation, service, or training is included in the quotation, see field
service rates at time of such service if you have a requirement.
CHARGES FOR FIELD SERVICE WILL BE AS FOLLOWS
$75.00 per hour, for all travel time. All work performed on site requires that
travel expenses paid by the customer. Travel time begins when the Air Gage
service engineer leaves our facility. Automobile mileage will be charged at the
rate of .365 cents per mile. Sustenance and lodging will be charged to the
customer at cost.
$95.00 per hour, Monday through Friday up to eight hours per day, between the
hours of 6:00AM - 6:00 PM.
$125.00 per hour, after eight hours after 6:00 PM, afternoons and midnight’s.
$125.00 per hour, Saturday.
$150.00 per hour, Sunday.
$185.00 per hour, Holidays; defined as any day recognized by Air Gage as a paid
holiday.
